My new place in the Center of the Universe (i.e. Fremont)
This evening to escape the heat I met up with Beth and grabbed some food and drinks in a cooler-than-outside bar in Fremont. On the way back to her place and to catch the bus home, we walked by my new apartment that I move in to this weekend. It's located about 2 blocks from the Fremont Troll (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fremont_Troll) and only about 3 blocks from the center of the Fremont business area. I wasn't paying attention as we were walking by it, and Beth commented that it looked like a house out of a children's book… "That's my place!" I exclaimed. Actually, I just have the first floor. It's a one bedroom with a good-sized living room, a nice kitchen, and a little front and back yard. Housewarming of some fashion will occur within the next few weeks. Hooray!
